Eminent politician, socialist and a true well-wisher of the down trodden Late Sri Heera Lal Yadav (1931-1995) truly sensed with the depth of his heart, the need to strengthen women education in our society. He was a strong supporter of the view that only an educated girl can give us an educated society & an educated nation.

These ideas of Late Sri Heera Lal Yadav were move forwarded by his two sons former M.L.A. honorable Sri Shyam Kishore Yadav & Sri. Kunwar Ram Singh . The concrete shape to his dreams was given by esatblishing the Heera Lal Yadav Balika Inter College in1996 at Gauri Village, Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow. The college brought educational opportunities for the girls at their doorsteps, no doubt the college was able to raise the educational status of girls of the area.
